Got an unused, unwanted or unloved bike? Give it a new home: donate to local charity Life Cycle UK!
BikeBack is a bike refurbishment scheme, run by local charity Life
Cycle UK. We take unwanted bikes and teach prisoners at Horfield Prison
how to fix them up, getting them back on the road at affordable prices.
The project:
- Saves old bikes from landfill
- Teaches prisoners new employable skills
- Helps people on low incomes start cycling
But we need your unwanted bikes to keep going! If you or anyone you know has an unwanted bike gathering dust, get in touch:
Call us on 0117 353 4580 or visit the Life Cycle UK website.
Bikes can be dropped off 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday at the CREATE
Centre, Smeaton Road, BS1 6XN or at Horfield Prison (Cambridge Road, BS7 8PS - enter the car park,
turn hard right and walk through the metal gates, past the plastic
flaps and to the Life Cycle sign) on TUESDAYS ONLY.
