Henleaze - sewerage improvement work is currently taking place in Henleaze - Wellington Hill West, Cherington Road and Glenwood Road

A Wessex Water spokesman said:

"Although our work doesn't require a road closure on Wellington Hill West, in the interests of public safety, it will inevitably require some traffic management which will also help to complete the work as quickly as possible.

"Recently there has been work carried out by another utility in the area. While we always look to coordinate work with other utility companies to minimise disruption, on this occasion we were unable to coincide our work due to the different construction techniques being used."

Work, which started on Monday 10 January 2013, is expected to be completed by Friday 12 July 2013.
