How about popping in at the Westbury Library where they can play chess, for free.

The Pop-in Chess is open to children of all ages and all abilities. It is run by Urban Chess Bristol and runs every Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm.
You can pop-in for 1 game or stay the whole time. there is no need to book. All equipment is supplied and there are always experienced chess coaches on hand to help out.

The Urban Chess Bristol Project is focused on helping Primary Aage children develop through chess. Currently there are 12 schools and just under 600 children who learn 1 hour of chess, every week during curriculum time. If you would like chess at your school please email robert@robert-chandler.com
