Growing Tomatoes in Westbury-on-Trym. SusWot has started a project to grow 1000 tomato plants in Westbury.

The seeds are already sown in greenhouses around the village. We are looking for people to help pot on the seedlings and grow them on until they are big enough to plant out.

We are particularly interested in people who have not grown food before. So if you have a bit of spare space and would like to have a go please be in touch. If you know somebody with space in a garden or on a patio who would like to grow tomatoes tell us about them and them about us.

We are looking to pot up seedlings in April and expect to have plants available in May, after any frost.
