I would like to invite comments about the death of trade in Westbury on Trym. Firstly it was recession and all that went with it ,then greedy landlords took a swipe at cetain properties and now the city council in all its wisdom has put the finishing touches with roadworks in Canford Lane. Although I agree with the need to repair pavements but to actually deprive traders of decent access is taking the proverbial Now we are only two weeks in to a 8 to 13 week cycle with most businesses running at half speed one has to wonder who goes first. Surely there could have been a staggered approach to the work, there again I am not an expert only a victim.
