Bristol-based parents who care for children and young people with disabilities, special needs, and life-limiting conditions will be able to raise their issues of concern at a free event in Southmead.
Also on the agenda at Bristol Parent Carers' 2013 Participation Day on Wednesday, March 6 will be an exploration of what personalised care budgets might mean for families in Bristol.
There will also be a variety of information stalls and workshops for parents and carers and service providers on education, health and social care issues.
The annual event is organised by Bristol Parent Carers, and this year has the theme 'What does the future hold?'
As well as listening to presentations and taking part in discussion groups, parent carers will be able to enjoy a free buffet lunch, and reflexology and Indian head massage therapies.
Bristol Parent Carers' 2013 Participation Day will be held at the Greenway Centre in Southmead from 9.45am to 2.30pm. Booking is essential, and help with transport costs and childcare costs can be provided for parents who wish to attend.
