Thought about how to celebrate Valentine's Day yet?

There's a special Valentine's menu at the Victoria in the heart of the village, or for a bit of Italian romance head for Valentino's in Stoke Bishop.

At Kondi Brasserie in Henleaze you can enjoy a special candle-lit dinner on Valentine's Day. At £25 a head there's a wide choice - what caught my eye on their menu was the ham hock and pistachio terrine for starters, grilled fillet of seabass and fresh strawberries and homemade marshmallows for afters. Delicious!

The Villager is always a good choice - and you can get them to make you dinner to take away if you'd rather have it at home.

If you'd rather cook yourself for your loved one for Valentine's Day, nip into Waitrose and pick up something special - and perhaps select something from the lovely pattiserie for pud?

Fish and chips can be surprisingly romantic - and you can pick the venue to enjoy them! Head for Westbury Fish Bar in Church Road.

Let us know what you are doing for Valentine's Day - will you be celebrating it the weekend before instead of the actual day, which falls on a Monday this year? Do you recommend anywhere that we haven't mentioned?

And is anyone getting married on Valentine's Day? Let us know!

In the coming week we'll be out and about finding out the best places to buy Valentine's gifts in and around Westbury-on-Trym
