Chess in Schools and Communities are looking for volunteers to look after a chess "Drop-In" play session at the Westbury on Trym Library on Saturday afternoons.

This forms part of the CSC Urban Chess-Bristol project to increase children's education achievement through chess. Children between the ages of 7-9 will be taught 1 hour of chess during curriculum time and we want to provide another opportunity for the children to play chess with other people in the area.

You do not have to be a chess professional, just a basic to good understanding of the game is all you need. Full support will be given.

We are particularly looking for retired people.

If you are interested please call Robert Chandler 07828 150 383 to find out more.
