A planned evening of entertainment to raise money for The Bristol and Avon Multiple Sclerosis Centre (BrAMS) will include a performance by Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist, The World Famous Shaolin Monks.

BrAMS provides comprehensive patient care and carries out research into the causes of MS, it was built following a £250,000 charity appeal with many people in the region raising funds.

The event, that takes place on Saturday 10 July 2010 at The Begbrook and Stapleton community centre, Frenchay, has been organised by Claire Gamlin who has MS and attends BrAMS for treatment.

Claire Gamlin said: “I have been attending the centre for six years and I really appreciate everything that they do.

“I wanted to do something to say thank-you to everyone for all their help and support and I thought raising money was the best option to ensure that the centre can continue to help people with MS.

“Along with The Shaolin Monks we also have a live band, a disco, a buffet and two raffles for people to enjoy during the evening.”

Some 2,000 people with MS use the centre at Frenchay Hospital from throughout the region and further afield.

Tickets are only £5. For more information or to book your tickets please contact Claire on 0758 409 5314 or email claire.gamlin@googlemail.co.uk.
