I want to vote and trust the politician to do a good, honest job, to say clearly what the situation is.
If it's bad, we need to know.
Are we really so sad as a nation that we are taken in by sound bites and clever speeches that sound good but actually say nothing?
I want transparency forced on the business world so we can make proper choices.
I want the NHS to be able to use their expertise to prioritise and treat urgent cases, not forced into the farce of trolleys in corridors so that targets can be met.
Be warned, politicians! Don't underestimate our power to say "none of the above".

I am with you all the way on this one Linda,But we both know that it 'aint going to happen.
Why? Because the main reason is that most people cant be fused to get of there backsides and vote!! I think that if People were made to vote,as they do in quite a few countries in the world at least people would have a right to have a go at our M.P's,and on the other side of the coin I am sure that they would take a lot more notice of us poor "common people".
All that I want from "them"is to look after us who put them there, and NOT to tred the party line and totaly forget there roots,
Lets be all honest, this country is in a mess, and I dont think that lot in London have a clue what ia going on in the real world,
When I wonder Did any of the very top boys or girls go and fill a car up with gas? or go to Tesco and do the food shop?not for a long time I think!!
We need a team to get rid of "PC"get rid if "Human Rights",Get rid of "Managers"in the NHS,get rid of "The Spongers"who are taking god knows how much out of the country on money that should go to old folk and people that are living as if they were in the 1800 and not in 2010,make 30 years mean 30 years, and a bit of hard labour to go with it.
I could keep this up all night,or untill my poor old 'pooter packed up but I think Linda, you get my drift,It just 'aint going to happen my love, but we can all dream!!!.SHARPSHOOTER.

I'm with you!
For too long we have put up with idiotic MPs and churlish attitudes by those in power who conveniently forget all their promises the moment they are elected.
It's little wonder younger people become so disenfranchised with politician's when all they do is act in their own interests and not those of their constituents.
